So my little sister's friend Joey, aka "Papá" comes up with an annual slogan for the new year. Mind you, I had no idea about this until we were having dinner together on New Year's Eve and everyone was asking him to reveal the new montra. He held out until midnight, and then revealed it. In case you didn't gather it from the title, it's "Gonna Own What's Mine In '09" and I just have to say that I am so down with that! There are so many things that I'm trying to truly own this year that I feel I've neglected this past year. So, without further adieu, here's what I plan to own this year:
1) My faith
2) My career
3) My health
4) My love life
5) My education
