New Kids Concert!

Okay, so I'm a totally lame blogger these days.  I know.  I've seemed to have lost my passion.  It's a shame really because I read my old posts and I was totally having a blast with the blog.  I guess it just started taking up so much time.  I'm working on getting back in the swing of it though.  My point is, New Kids was over a week ago and I never updated you guys (all 5 of you who still check on me!).  Anyway, let me just say that it was uh-mazing!!  OMG!!  (Here comes a horrible pun, but...) They've still got "the right stuff"!  hahahaha.  Okay, enough of that.   But seriously, they were always awesome because they were just tremendous entertainers, and they still are.  Most of them are in their late 30's (Jon is pushing 40) and they were running around, dancing, singing, and showing off their smokin' hot bod's!  Yes, they stay in shape and good for them.  So, my girls and I went to the show (and I totally forgot my camera at home, but I took a few on the iphone) and we were on the floor in the 20th row, which put us pretty stinking close!  They did all the old classics and a handful of new stuff, which I actually really dig their new album.  We screamed, hollered, sang, and had a fabulous time!  Afterward, we went to their afterparty at LAX, a club at the Luxor (formerly RA).  We were supposed to be on the guest list, but guess what, the bouncer wouldn't even look to see if my name was on it.  Nope, it was one of those,  "We only let in the pretty people" kind of deals.  Well, screw that!  I'm still hot and gorgeous and sexy enough to get into your lame club.  So, I worked the bouncer with a few bats of my eyelashes and he let us in, JUST IN TIME TO SEE NEW KIDS PERFORM AGAIN!!!  WHOOOOO!  It was pretty great!!  :D  The club was super packed and I felt too old to be there, or maybe just too sober.  At any rate, we stuck around for a little while and then left, putting us back in the hotel around 3 or 4am.  I can't remember exactly, but somewhere around there.  Anyway, it was totally good times and I soo want to see them again!  Don't clown.  :D

Ummmm I love you and all girl but NKOTB???? LAME!!! Oh em gee. I think I was way too old for this phenomena. I was already like seventeen or eighteen and into The Cure, Morrissey and Jane's Addiction. But I DID see them in concert, believe it or not. I went with a girlfriend who bought four tickets, even though no one wanted to go with her. So she took me and two of her sisters. I clowned the entire time. It was just crowds of little girls screaming. I was baffled.

Then that heifer tried to get me to pay her for the ticket afterwards. LOL

I used to love NKOTB when I was young and would totally go to see them if they came to my town! Sounds like a good time! :)

Anyway, I remember your vids from YouTube. Are you ever planning to come back? I noticed you haven't updated here for a while either. :(
